With strong hand, Lord God, captain your men armed by you to destroy the enemy, guide the one, on the other wreak harsh death; your cause is Caesar's, make him invincible. That rage and fury you showed in Eygpt, assume again against those determined to overwhelm us through endless anguish, like that Pharaoh inflicted on Israel. Look down on us with compassion and see how our shepherd labors, how he uses all arts to regain the once lost flock.
