When God's light penetrates the heart she's led to dismiss the deep grasping instinct to control things, herself to work out her own craven ephemeral absolution. Then if He sees her heart is cleansed, humble, that she repents of her mistake to the point of pressing physical pain, He dawns in her, awakens her, and she is reborn, detached from the world, armed by faith. Then soon she sees this is but a shadow, pledge of the light and peace surrounding angels, entwining them into one. Then the soul sees herself, faith, hope opens the gates, and burning she melts into eternal light. |
